It all began in 2009 when founder Marco DeLuca moved to Plymouth, MA with one simple mission: to bring authentic, handcrafted pizza to his new hometown. Armed with family recipes passed down through three generations and an obsession for quality ingredients, he opened the doors to the original pizza factory at 25 Home Depot Dr.
What started as a small, 10-table kitchen quickly became Plymouth's most-loved dining destination. Word spread fast — the hand-tossed dough, house-made sauces, and creative topping combinations were unlike anything the area had tasted. By 2012, we had expanded our kitchen and brought on our first dedicated pizza team.
Today, the pizza factory serves thousands of loyal customers each month. We've never wavered from our founding philosophy: use the freshest ingredients, honor traditional techniques, and pour heart into every single pie. 2009
Pizza factory Opens Its Doors
Marco DeLuca opens the original pizza factory at 25 Home Depot Dr, Plymouth, MA. Day one sold 48 pizzas. The community's response was immediate and overwhelming.
2011
Plymouth's Choice Award
Just two years in, Pizza factory earned Plymouth's Best New Restaurant award from the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. A milestone that validated our commitment to quality.
2013
Kitchen Expansion & Delivery Launch
With demand growing fast, we doubled our kitchen space and launched our own delivery service — bringing the pizza factory experience directly to Plymouth homes.
2016
Catering Program & Local Partnerships
We launched our full catering program for local events, weddings, and corporate gatherings. Partnered with five Plymouth-area farms to supply fresh, seasonal ingredients.
2019
10th Anniversary — 10K Pies Celebration
Celebrated a decade of the pizza factory with a community pizza festival. Gave away over 500 free pies to loyal customers and raised $12,000 for Plymouth food banks.
2022
Online Ordering & Digital Transformation
